What time should the driver arrive at your St Georges Basin address?
Worked back from Sydney Airport's own guidance — be at the terminal 2 hours before a domestic flight if you are checking bags (1 hour with hand luggage only) and 3 hours before an international flight — plus the drive from St Georges Basin (about 2 hours 25 minutes), ten minutes to load the bags, and extra time when the drive runs into the weekday peak.
Hand luggage only on a domestic flight? Your pickup can be an hour later. You choose the exact pickup time when you book, and the fixed $542 is the same at any hour.
Door-to-door from any St Georges Basin address.

St Georges Basin to Sydney Airport. Train, drive, or private transfer?
What each option costs and what it asks of you on the morning of the flight. Train fares are adult Opal fares, checked 15 October 2026; rideshare, taxi and shuttle prices change, so we don't quote them.
What happens on the morning of your flight from St Georges Basin.
Booking is the easy part. The morning is what people actually experience. Here is how OSPIPO handles the four moments that matter on the day of departure.
Confirmation message
The driver sends a short message 15 minutes before pickup — vehicle plate, name, ETA. Nothing to do, just confirms the morning is running as planned.
Premium executive sedan at your driveway
The driver arrives at the scheduled time, helps with luggage, and confirms the destination terminal (T1, T2, or T3). Bottled water and mints in the cabin. Climate already adjusted.
The drive
About 2 hours 25 minutes of quiet. Phone charging on board, with USB-C and Lightning cables. Take a call. Send the last emails. Sleep. The cabin is yours.
Direct to terminal door
The driver drops at the terminal entrance closest to your airline check-in. Luggage out, doors closed, you're walking into the terminal — not waiting for a shuttle, not crossing a carpark.
Why local route knowledge matters from St Georges Basin.
A 6am flight is forgiving of nothing. Choosing a driver who actually knows the St Georges Basin-to-Sydney-Airport route — not a rideshare app sending whoever's closest — is the difference between catching the flight and missing it.
The train option, honestly
There is no station in St Georges Basin; the nearest is Bomaderry, so the train starts with a lift or a taxi to the platform. From there it is about 2 hours 50 minutes to the terminal, with two changes, at Kiama and Wolli Creek, for about $26–29 adult with Opal including the $18.61 airport station access fee. From Sunday 15 November 2026, South Coast trains stop calling at Wolli Creek, so the airport needs a change at Sutherland or Hurstville as well — or a ride to Central and back out on the airport line.
The drive-yourself option, honestly
Driving the 175 km takes about 2 hours 25 minutes outside peak hours, more on weekday mornings. Then airport parking is charged by the day — Sydney Airport says booking online can save up to 70% — and the same drive is waiting for you when you land.
From the basin's edge to Gate 5, one fixed fare
St Georges Basin is the waterway community in the Jervis Bay hinterland. The drive to Sydney Airport is about 175 kilometres of Princes Motorway and M1 — a run OSPIPO makes at a fixed $542 AUD, door to terminal.
St Georges Basin gives its name to the whole waterway — a broad tidal lake fringed by bushland, boat ramps and acreage homes, with Tomerong's forest and boutique stays just inland. It is Jervis Bay's quiet hinterland, popular with those who want water without the tourist crowd.
Off the highway and without rail, the basin is a natural fit for a private transfer. OSPIPO knows the Island Point and Basin View connectors and drives the fixed distance to the terminal, collecting from the waterfront or the Tomerong bush.

The OSPIPO Concierge
An assistant that quotes and books — not a support bot that hands you a form at the end.
- 1Tell it where you're going. Any NSW address, not just the published routes.
- 2The fixed all-inclusive fare comes back immediately — tolls, GST and levy inside it.
- 3Add your date and flight number and it lodges the booking with a reference.
- 4Parag confirms with you directly. Nothing is charged, ever, at this point.
The MCP connector
Connect OSPIPO to your assistant once and never visit this site to book again.
- 1Paste ospipo.com.au/mcp into your assistant's connector settings.
- 2Leave client ID and secret blank — that's the whole setup.
- 3Book by sentence from then on. Your assistant gets the locked fare back before confirming.
Both quote the same published fixed fares. Neither handles card or payment details at any point — you pay your driver on arrival. Every booking, however it arrives, is confirmed by Parag directly before the car is locked in. An executive assistant or family member can hold the connector and book on someone else's behalf.
Departing from elsewhere on the South Coast?
OSPIPO services every major South Coast suburb between Wollongong and Jervis Bay, both directions. Same fixed-price model. Same premium standard. Same driver.
Getting to Sydney Airport from St Georges Basin without a car
By train
There is no station in St Georges Basin; the nearest is Bomaderry. From there it takes about 2 hours 50 minutes to the terminal, with two changes, at Kiama and Wolli Creek — about $26–29 adult with Opal, including the $18.61 airport station access fee.
Two things worth knowing. From Sunday 15 November 2026, South Coast trains stop calling at Wolli Creek, so the airport needs a change at Sutherland or Hurstville as well — or a ride to Central and back. And the line is electrified only as far as Kiama: south of it a diesel service runs to Bomaderry, so trips from Gerringong, Berry and Bomaderry add a change at Kiama. For a 6am flight with checked bags — at the terminal by 4am — no South Coast train gets you there in time.
The road, and what sets the timing
St Georges Basin sits on the basin of the same name, inland from the Jervis Bay coast. The road network here is a series of loops rather than a grid, which is why a street address matters more than the suburb name.
The Basin View and Sanctuary Point sides are close enough that people often give the wrong one. Naming the street resolves it.
At about 175 km the run is about 2 hours 25 minutes, and the last stretch off the Princes Highway is unlit.
Who books this run
Mixed residential and holiday. Bookings run to both residents heading away and visitors leaving after a stay on the basin.
Every South Coast fare to Sydney Airport
Nearest first, with the road distance from each suburb centre. Every fare is fixed — tolls, GST and the NSW levy included — and locked when you book. Your own address may be a little nearer or further. St Georges Basin is highlighted.
