Sydney CBD to the South Coast Private Transfers Fixed Fares Through to Jervis Bay

Sydney CBD to Jervis Bay is $750 AUD, one way, fixed at the moment you book. That is the entire number. Motorway tolls, GST and the NSW Passenger Service Levy are already inside it, and nothing is added at the end — not on the coast, not on the invoice.

The same fare runs in both directions, so Jervis Bay back to a Circular Quay hotel is also $750. It does not change at 5am on a Friday, on a long weekend, or on New Year's Eve. OSPIPO does not use a meter and does not price by demand.

The drive is about 185 kilometres and 2 hours 55 minutes, most of it on the M1 and then the Princes Highway. Those 25 minutes and the $65 next to it are the whole difference between the two fare lists.

One fare covers the city, not one street. If your pickup is at any of these, it prices as Sydney CBD and the fare to Jervis Bay is $750:

There is no landmark surcharge. A pickup on the Opera House forecourt costs the same as a pickup outside a Surry Hills terrace. Hotel lobby, apartment basement or office entrance — the number does not move.

One number worth knowing before you compare quotes: every South Coast fare from the Sydney CBD is exactly $65 above the same trip from Sydney Airport. Wollongong is $475 from the city and $410 from the airport. Kiama is $555 and $490. Nowra is $675 and $610. Jervis Bay is $750 and $685. Thirty routes, one gap, no exceptions. That $65 is the cost of crossing Sydney, priced once and published up front rather than settled at the end.

A return is not a new quote. Each direction is charged at the fixed one-way fare, the two are added, and 10% comes off the total. The same driver drives both legs, so whoever loaded your bags at Barangaroo is the person who takes them out again that night.

Worked example — a corporate offsite. Pickup at Barangaroo at 7:00am, arriving Huskisson about 9:55am. Return pickup at 4:00pm, back in the city about 6:55pm.

• One way: $750
• Two legs: $750 + $750 = $1,500
• Less 10%: $1,350 — the amount you pay
• Difference against two separately booked one-ways: $150

Set the return time when you book and the car is there at that time. If your return is on a different day rather than the same one, say so when you ask and the pair will be quoted before you commit to either leg.

The weekend. The Friday escape from the city to Hyams Beach, Vincentia or Huskisson, with a boot that takes two large suitcases and the carry-on bags on top. Nobody drives the Princes Highway in the dark at the end of a working week, and nobody spends Sunday afternoon doing 185 kilometres in reverse.
