South Coast to Sydney Airport: fixed prices by town
OSPIPO's fixed one-way fare from the NSW South Coast to Sydney Airport is $410 AUD from Wollongong, $490 from Kiama, $610 from Nowra and $685 from Jervis Bay. Tolls, GST and the NSW Passenger Service Levy are inside those numbers. For a 06:00 international out of T1, pickup is 01:30 in Wollongong and 00:15 in Jervis Bay, at the same fare as a midday run.
Is the fare per person or per car?
Per car — the same fare for 1 to 4 passengers. The car takes up to 4 passengers with 2 large suitcases plus carry-on bags (with 4: 2 large suitcases and 1 carry-on); tolls, GST and the NSW levy are always included.
What time to leave the South Coast for a Sydney Airport flight
OSPIPO works every departure backwards from the flight, never forwards from the alarm. The rule is fixed and applied the same way every time: three hours before an international departure, 90 minutes before a domestic one with checked bags, plus the published drive time, plus ten minutes at the door to load bags. That is the whole calculation.
The published drive times to Sydney Airport are Wollongong 1h 10m, Kiama 1h 35m, Nowra 2h 5m and Jervis Bay 2h 30m. Applied to a 06:00 international out of T1, that puts the Wollongong pickup at 01:30, Kiama at 01:15, Nowra at 00:45 and Jervis Bay at 00:15. The table below is that arithmetic done for the flight times people actually book.
| Your flight | At the terminal by | Wollongong | Kiama | Nowra | Jervis Bay |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 06:00 international, T1 | 03:00 | 01:30 | 01:15 | 00:45 | 00:15 |
| 06:00 domestic, T2 or T3 | 04:30 | 03:00 | 02:45 | 02:15 | 01:45 |
| 07:30 international, T1 | 04:30 | 03:00 | 02:45 | 02:15 | 01:45 |
| 09:00 international, T1 | 06:00 | 04:30 | 04:15 | 03:45 | 03:15 |
| 09:00 domestic, T2 or T3 | 07:30 | 05:30 | 05:15 | 04:45 | 04:15 |
| 11:00 domestic, T2 or T3 | 09:30 | 07:30 | 07:15 | 06:45 | 06:15 |
| 14:00 domestic, T2 or T3 | 12:30 | 11:00 | 10:45 | 10:15 | 09:45 |
| 21:00 international, T1 | 18:00 | 16:15 | 15:45 | 15:15 | 15:00 |
Every time in that table is the moment the car is at your door, not the moment it leaves the depot. If your flight time changes after booking, the pickup is recalculated on the same rule and the fare does not move.
Fixed fares from every South Coast pickup to Sydney Airport

There is no airport surcharge added at the end, no night loading, no meter and no surge. The figure you are quoted at 23:00 the night before is the figure on the tax invoice.

If your street is not on the list, it still has a fixed fare: any address in the service area, which on the South Coast runs to Sussex Inlet, is quoted before you book and locked at that figure. Sydney addresses beyond the airport work the same way — the Sydney CBD is $475 from Wollongong, $555 from Kiama, $675 from Nowra and $750 from Jervis Bay. The CBD zone is the Opera House, Circular Quay, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Pyrmont, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, Woolloomooloo, Ultimo, Chippendale and Haymarket; any other Sydney address is priced on OSPIPO’s published distance rate ($72 + $3.96 per road km + the $1.32 NSW levy, rounded to the nearest $5) — Parramatta to Wollongong, for example, is $415. See what a South Coast airport transfer costs for the full breakdown.
What a pre-dawn departure asks of a booking
A 01:30 pickup in Wollongong for a 06:00 international is booked and settled hours before the morning starts, and OSPIPO builds it the same way as any other trip. Every trip has a named driver from the moment it is confirmed — allocated when you book, not on the morning it runs. The fare is fixed in writing before you sleep, and OSPIPO is a licensed NSW Point to Point Booking Service Provider — licence BSP-462516, ABN 87 148 128 771.
Worth stating plainly: pre-dawn slots on any given morning are limited, so an early flight is worth booking once you have the flight number.
A 01:30 pickup costs the same as a midday one
There is no night loading on any OSPIPO fare. Wollongong to Sydney Airport is $410 at 01:30 and $410 at 13:30. Nowra is $610 either way. Jervis Bay is $685 either way. The hour of the pickup is not an input to the price, because the price is not calculated on the day — it is the published fixed fare for your route, locked when you book.
That matters on a departure. A fixed fare removes a decision people make badly at 23:00 the night before: choosing a later pickup because the earlier one might cost more. Leave at the hour the flight actually requires. It costs the same.
What is included is equally fixed. Motorway tolls, GST and the NSW Passenger Service Levy are inside the quoted number. There is no drop-off fee added at the terminal, no fuel or distance adjustment, and no booking fee. Cancellation is free before pickup, with a full refund, so a flight cancelled at 22:00 costs you nothing. More on that on the fixed-price promise page.
The morning of the flight, step by step
The point of a departure transfer is that nothing on the morning requires a decision from you. Here is the sequence for a South Coast run.
- Before the morning. The booking is lodged as a request and OSPIPO confirms it directly with the passenger, with the pickup time already worked back from your flight number using the same rule (3 hours before an international flight, 90 minutes before a domestic one with checked bags).
- The pickup. The car is at the address you booked, at the time in the table above, with ten minutes allowed for loading. Bags are loaded for you.
- The drive. The car is all-electric, so the cabin is quiet enough to sleep in at 02:00.
- The fare. The figure quoted at booking is the figure on the invoice. Nothing is added at the terminal.
Capacity is the one constraint to check before you book: up to 4 passengers with 2 large suitcases plus carry-on (with 4: 2 large suitcases and 1 carry-on). This is an executive sedan, not a people mover: up to four passengers (with four, two large suitcases and one carry-on), and a party of five or more will not fit. If your flight time changes between booking and departure, tell Ospi and the pickup moves with it at the same fare.
Your pickup suburb, priced on its own page
This page is the departure hub for the coast from Helensburgh to Jervis Bay and Sussex Inlet. Each suburb below has its own page with the fixed fare, the local pickup detail and route-specific answers — holiday-rental access, hotel front-entrance handovers, unmarked rural driveways and the timing quirks of that particular stretch of road.
- Northern Illawarra: Helensburgh, Stanwell Park, Austinmer, Thirroul.
- Wollongong and the Lake: Wollongong, Figtree, Dapto, Shellharbour, Shell Cove, Albion Park.
- Kiama and Gerringong: Kiama, Kiama Downs, Jamberoo, Gerringong, Gerroa.
- Shoalhaven and Jervis Bay: Berry, Bomaderry, Nowra, Jervis Bay, Huskisson, Vincentia, Hyams Beach.
Two regional hubs sit under this one and carry the local detail for their own suburbs: Illawarra airport transfers and Shoalhaven airport transfers. If you are travelling into Sydney rather than through it, the South Coast to Sydney private transfer page covers CBD, Opera House, Barangaroo and Greater Sydney addresses. Private transfer versus taxi versus rideshare sets out what each option asks of you, and OSPIPO also runs cruise terminal transfers on the same fixed-fare basis.

The car that arrives at 01:30
A premium all-electric executive sedan. What you book is what arrives.
For a pre-dawn departure the details that matter are the quiet ones. The cabin is already warm when you step out of a cold house at 00:15, the temperature is set for the passengers rather than the driver, and the lights stay low enough to sleep by. An electric drivetrain means no engine noise on a residential street at one in the morning, which neighbours notice more than passengers do.
Luggage capacity is 2 large suitcases plus carry-on with one to three passengers, or 2 large suitcases and 1 carry-on with four. OSPIPO holds a NSW Point to Point Booking Service Provider Licence, BSP-462516, and operates under ABN 87 148 128 771. Standards and licensing are set out on the NSW compliance page.
Booking, payment and what a return costs
Nothing is charged at booking. No card details, no account. You pay in advance by secure link and a GST tax invoice follows. The invoiced figure is always the figure you were quoted, so there is nothing to reconcile afterwards.
Return trips are priced simply: each direction is the fixed one-way fare, and a return is the one-way doubled then reduced by 10 per cent. A Wollongong return is $740 AUD, Kiama $880, Nowra $1,100 and Jervis Bay $1,235. The same driver drives both legs, so the person who took your bags out at 01:30 is the one who collects you when you land.
There are five ways to book. Ospi on every page of this site quotes and books in the same conversation. There is a booking form. There is phone on +61 435 162 311 and WhatsApp on the same number. And there is an MCP connector at https://ospipo.com.au/mcp, which lets you book from inside Claude, Perplexity, Grok or Mistral in one sentence — ChatGPT quotes on Plus and Pro and books on Business and Enterprise. It is explained on book with AI. Companies booking regularly should read business accounts.
Coming back the other way
The return leg is the same fixed fare and the same driver, with flight tracking and complimentary waiting measured from your actual landing. Arrival detail — where you are met, how long the waiting runs and the fare in that direction — sits on the Sydney Airport transfer hub, with route pages for Sydney Airport to Wollongong and Sydney Airport to Jervis Bay, and Sydney Airport to the South Coast without a car if you are weighing the options.

Ospi
An assistant that quotes and books — not a support bot that hands you a form at the end.
- 1Tell it where you're going. Any address in the service area, not just the published routes.
- 2The fixed all-inclusive fare comes back immediately — tolls, GST and levy inside it.
- 3Add your date and flight number and it lodges the booking with a reference.
- 4Parag confirms with you directly. Nothing is charged, ever, at this point.
The MCP connector
Use Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral or ChatGPT Business? Connect OSPIPO once and book by sentence after that — the two-minute setup is on the Book with AI page.
Both quote the same published fixed fares. Neither handles card or payment details — you pay by the secure link OSPIPO sends when it confirms. Every booking, however it arrives, is confirmed by Parag directly before the car is locked in. An executive assistant or family member can hold the connector and book on someone else's behalf.

South Coast to Sydney Airport FAQ
Not a direct one. On the timetable running until 14 November 2026 it is one change at Wolli Creek from Helensburgh to Kiama — about 1 hour 30 minutes from Wollongong and 2 hours 10 minutes from Kiama — and two changes, at Kiama and Wolli Creek, from Gerringong, Berry and Bomaderry (about 2 hours 50 minutes from Bomaderry). Adult Opal fares are about $23–29 including the $18.61 airport station access fee. A private transfer goes door to terminal: Wollongong $410, Kiama $490, Nowra $610, Jervis Bay $685, fixed per car.
Until Saturday 14 November 2026, yes. From Sunday 15 November 2026, the new South Coast Line timetable runs these trains through Wolli Creek without stopping, so for the airport you change at Sutherland or Hurstville and again at Wolli Creek, or ride on to Central and take an airport train back. Sydney Trains suggests Central if you have large luggage or need lifts. The new times appear in Transport for NSW Trip Planner from 1 November 2026.
No — WSI is further by road, so OSPIPO adds $3.96 for each extra km. From Fairy Meadow south to Jervis Bay WSI is about 11 km further and $45 more: Wollongong $455, Kiama $535, Nowra $655, Jervis Bay $730 (Sydney Airport $410, $490, $610, $685). From Austinmer to Corrimal it is $20 more, and from Otford to Coledale $105 more (Helensburgh $395, Stanwell Park $425); Kangaroo Valley costs less to WSI ($555), because WSI is closer. Passenger flights at WSI run from 25 October 2026.
Not at the moment. Shellharbour Airport at Albion Park Rail has had no scheduled passenger flights since Link Airways suspended its Brisbane and Melbourne services on 20 May 2026 — for airline flights it is Sydney Airport or, from 25 October 2026, Western Sydney Airport.
